MS in Finance

The Master of Science in Finance in the College of Business Administration at the University of Texas at El Paso provides advanced specialized training in finance to meet the demands for financial analysis and decision making for occupations in business and government.

Application will be accepted from students with a bachelor or master degree in business and management (e.g. finance, accounting, marketing, management, information systems), as well as economics and statistics, and in the sciences including computer science or other types of sciences, and in the engineering, technology and mathematics degree areas. Minimum GPA is a 3.0 (based on a 4.0 scale) for the applicable degrees. Applicants should provide transcripts, GMAT or GRE scores that are at most 5 years old, at least one letter of recommendation, proof of English language proficiency for those for which English is not a native language, resume and an admission essay expressing interest in the program.
