Graduate Certificate in 3D Engineering and Additive Manufacturing
The Department of Mechanical Engineering created a 15 standard credit hour (SCH) Graduate Certificate in 3D Engineering and Additive Manufacturing. This certificate will supplement the existing Master's Degree In Mechanical Engineering or any other suitable graduate-level degree at UTEP or at another institution, or be a stand-alone certificate for a professional engineer.
Admission Requirements
- A Bachelor Degree in mechanical, aerospace, electrical, civil, industrial, biomedical, computer science, leadership and materials engineering or a related field in engineering or science. The degree must be from a regionally accredited institution in the United States, or from a foreign institution providing an equivalent education.
- Either current enrollment in a graduate level engineering program with an official transcript, or a current resume that demonstrates that the applicant has the sufficient professional preparation for the program.
- A brief statement of purpose describing the reasons why the individual is interested in this certificate.
- A single letter of recommendation from a supervisor of faculty member.
