Master of Music with Concentration in Education

Admission Requirements 

  1. A Bachelor of Music degree or its equivalent.
  2. Interview with Music Education faculty and submission of written philosophy of teaching.
  3. Completed application to the UTEP Graduate School https://www.utep.edu/graduate/apply-now/apply-now.html which includes official undergraduate transcript, two letters of recommendation, and statement of purpose.
  4. Applicants whose degrees are from non-English speaking institutions are required to demonstrate English proficiency. Please consult the Graduate School website for required scores.
