Minor in Addiction Studies
The Minor in Addiction Studies provides students with a comprehensive understanding of addiction, encompassing its biological, psychological, social, and cultural dimensions. This program is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to address the challenges of addiction.
The program is structured to meet the state educational requirements for Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselors (LCDC) when paired with a related major. Students with non-related majors may need to enroll in additional courses to obtain LCDC eligibility.
