Woody L. Hunt College of Business
The Woody L. Hunt College of Business at The University of Texas at El Paso shares with the University its fundamental mission to provide the highest quality education to the residents of El Paso, west Texas, southern New Mexico and northern Mexico, commensurate with Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International standards for business education. The border location of the University and the expertise developed by the faculty provide an environment that affords opportunities for students to become knowledgeable in cross-border commerce as well as international business.
The College is committed to providing the widest possible access to quality higher education to allow our students to become competitive on local, regional, national, and international levels. Therefore, the goal of the College is to provide:

The College offers the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree and the Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Economics for undergraduate students. The BBA, the Master Business Administration (MBA), the Master of Accountancy (MACC), the Master of Science in Economics (MSEcon) and the Ph.D/ in Business Administration are all accredited by AACSB International. The UTEP College of Business Administration is proud to have earned AACSB Accreditation. Less than 5 percent of business schools world-wide have earned this prestigious designation from AACSB International—The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business-which provides global leadership in advancing management education. The College also offers business minors in general business, accounting, computer information systems, economics, finance, management, marketing and operations and supply chain management.
The Woody L. Hunt College of Business supports academic and professional programs designed to promote and advance regional economic development and transfer proven business principles and practices to entrepreneurial ventures.
Our faculty hold doctoral degrees from top institutions worldwide. They bring to the classroom a global perspective and conduct research with relevancy to the global marketplace.
