Vision
Engineering Education & Leadership seeks to redefine engineering education while graduating engineers with diverse technical knowledge that are prepared to take on leadership roles.
Mission
The Engineering Education & Leadership program seeks to develop deep and varied technical knowledge as well as leadership capacity by:
- Providing an open learning experience centered on project based learning and student autonomy.
- Developing a community based culture where students can feel comfortable interacting with each other as well as their professors both in and out of the classroom.
- Providing them with the opportunity to take part in experiences that transcend academics and develop skills, knowledge, and attitudes that are not taught within the classroom.
- Conducting research that improves and advances engineering education.
