Return to: College of Education
The College of Education is focused on our core functions, which include teacher education and bilingual education, as well as the areas of leadership, early childhood, STEM education, counseling, literacy, social/cultural foundations, special education, mental health services and educational scholarship. Additionally, we are engaged in strong connections into the local El Paso community, where we have built and continue to expand on our existing partnerships with local schools and school districts, as well as community agencies.
We are dedicated to preparing innovative educators who will address the needs of their communities. In partnership with local school districts and the surrounding El Paso community, the College of Education faculty has created exceptional educational experiences and has developed unique curricula for our state-approved educator programs. We offer baccalaureate, master’s and doctoral degrees in a variety of areas.
The Master of Arts degree in Education with concentrations in Diversity, Equity and Social Justice, and STEM Education are offered online through UTEP Connect.
