Master of Music with Concentration in Conducting

The Master of Music with Concentration in Conducting is offered online through UTEP Connect. 

Admission Requirements 

  1. A Bachelor of Music degree or its equivalent.
  2. Audition with a three-person panel of area faculty.
  3. Completed application to the UTEP Graduate School which includes official undergraduate transcript, two letters of recommendation, and statement of purpose.
  4. Applicants from countries where English is not the first language are required to demonstrate English proficiency. Please consult the graduate school website for required scores.

There are three options available in this concentration, depending on the candidate's specialization: Wind Conducting, Choral Conducting, or Orchestral Conducting.
