Nationally recognized for producing artists, scholars, teachers and museum professionals of the highest caliber, the UTEP Department of Art provides students in the El Paso del Norte region and beyond with an outstanding education in the visual arts. Students will gain in-depth knowledge and practice in the analysis and research of art and cultures and their influences on world cultures. Students will gain strong communication skills both written and verbal.
